Rocking the Singapore metal scene since 2001, Metalgunz is a heavy
metal rock band with a penchant for granitic guitar riffs, groovy rhythm
sections and honest and edgy vocals.
Describing their music as a marriage between Pantera’s heavy grooves
and Aerosmith’s sleazy rock and roll vibes, the quintet’s hard-hitting
performances have helped them build a loyal fan base locally as well as
regionally.
In 2009, the band released their first full-length album Never What It Seems,
showcasing their musical versatility with a refreshing mix of old-school
thrash, modern alternative rock and rip-roaring metal anthems like the
fan favourite, Leatherface Man.
Metalgunz has since played at various international music events
including Spring Scream Festival (Taiwan), Rock in Taichung (Taiwan) and
the CMJ Music Marathon (New York City).
Prepare for the return of Full Battle Order on October 20th at the Aliwal Arts Center! Headlining the event are the Australian heavy hitters, Nicolas Cage Fighter, and they'll be sharing the stage with Truth Be Known, Tariot, and Darah. Get ready for a night of intense metal. Please be aware that this is an R18 show with mature content and coarse language, so only the most daring need apply!

Nicolas Cage Fighter
Nicolas Cage Fighter is a fast-rising metallic hardcore band from Australia, formed in 2011. They have toured with renowned bands and released their debut EP, 3350, and signed a worldwide record deal with Blacklight Media and Metal Blade Records in March of the same year. In 2022, they released their debut full-length album, 'The Bones That Grew From Pain,' which garnered attention from respected publications and Spotify playlists. The band signed with Bleeding Art Collective booking agency in early 2023 and is currently working on their second album set to be released through Metal Blade Records.
Truth Be Known
Truth Be Known, Singapore's Death/Crossover metal masters, have established themselves as a prominent force in the Asian metal scene. Since the early 2000s, theyhave tirelessly grinded through the extreme metal underground, sharing stages withthe grind, death metal, and hardcore bands. Their impressive resume includes supporting international acts like Immolation, Kvelertak, King Parrot, and Heaven Shall Burn, as well as touring in Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, and Hong Kong. With socially inspired lyrics, their raw metal sound resonates with a punk-inspired edge, creating an electrifying and high-energy live performance. They have also showcased their talent at notable festivals such as Dead of Winter (Australia), Hammersonic (Indonesia), Heartown Festival (Taiwan), and Wake Up Festival (Taiwan). Currently, the band is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated third full-length album, "All are Equal in the Pit," set to drop in 2023.
Tariot
This five-member band shares a common goal: to create unique heavy music. They made waves with their 2018 debut EP, "Running on Empty," followed by the hit single "Built to Burn." They also opened for acts like Emmure, Betraying The Martyrs, and Alpha Wolf. Despite a slowdown in 2020 due to industry challenges, Tariot persevered, crafting new material. In late 2021, they signed with Out Of Line Music and hit the studio for their first full-length album, blending heavy grooves, intense breakdowns, and diverse metal influences. They've released three singles, including “Grave Future” and “Hell Hole.” As part of Out Of Line Music, alongside notable acts like Novelists FR and Betraying The Martyrs, Tariot is gearing up for an even more powerful comeback with their full-length album expected in mid-2023.
Darah
Established in 2015, the Singaporean death metal quintet has garnered a formidable reputation for their electrifying riffs and shockingly provocative lyrics. Renowned for their eccentricity and unwavering intensity during live performances, they command the stage with a cataclysmic presence while unapologetically delving into the abyssal realms of music. Fronted by the fierce vocal prowess of Hilman Eddie, and complemented by the blistering guitar work of Aidil and Iszzuan, along with the thunderous bass lines of Shu Kai and the relentless drumming of Islam Falmi, they fearlessly explore themes of inner torment and existential dread, pushing the boundaries of their genre with each dark and unrelenting composition.
